Connection help

Managing your QuickBooks connection

If your company has been disconnected, follow the steps below to review its status or reconnect. Visiting this page does not change or verify your connection.

Open connection settings

Disconnect a company

  1. Sign in to GMX as a seller administrator and open Admin → Integrations → QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select the company, choose Disconnect from QuickBooks, and confirm.
  3. Check the company’s status. GMX stops synchronization locally immediately. If Intuit is unavailable, authorization revocation is retried and its pending status remains visible.

Other connected companies remain active. Disconnecting does not delete your existing GMX orders, invoices, or payment history. If the status asks for administrator follow-up, remove GMX’s authorization from the connected-app settings in QuickBooks and contact GMX support.

If you disconnected directly in QuickBooks, return to GMX to check the company’s connection status. A disconnected company cannot synchronize until it is authorized again.

Reconnect the same company

  1. Open the company in GMX integration settings. Under its reconnect instructions, select Connect to QuickBooks.
  2. Authorize the same QuickBooks company used by the existing invoices. Use the separate add-company option for different books.
  3. Review manufacturer assignments, accounting mappings, and any pending invoice comparisons. Reenable sync settings when you are ready; reconnecting alone leaves them paused.

Reconnect is unavailable while revocation is pending, while deletion is in progress, after integration data has been deleted, or when production access is not approved. Contact support if you need help. Disconnect and deletion requests remain available if rollout eligibility is removed.

Request integration-data deletion

Email support@greenmarketexchange.com from your organization’s authorized contact. Identify your GMX organization and which connected company the request concerns. Do not include passwords, access tokens, or financial attachments.

An operator verifies your authority and the affected records before deletion. Applicable imported-only QuickBooks records and integration metadata are removed; legitimate GMX wholesale history and authorized retailer access are preserved. Records with unclear origins require investigation.

Deletion can proceed independently of successful Intuit revocation. If revocation could not finish, support will explain how to remove the authorization in QuickBooks. Backup and retained-copy handling must be verified separately before the request is marked complete.
